What are the government office hours?

City Hall is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

What is the recycling pick up schedule?

Pick up days schedule will be as follows:

a. West of Oak Street - the first Friday of each month, includes Trailer Park.

b. East of Oak Street - the third Friday of each month.

If scheduled Friday falls on a holiday, pickup will be on the same day as city garbage pick-up.

Clear bags with recyclables will need to be placed on the curb prior to 7 A.M. on scheduled pick-up days. The clear bags are available for purchase at the City of Arcadia office. (10 bags for $2.00)

Where and when do I pay my taxes.

Taxes may be paid by December 31st each year to take advantage of a deduction for the previous year's income taxes. They may also be paid by January 31st each year without penalty or in two installments on or before January 31st and July 31st. The first payment must be made to the City of Arcadia if you chose the installment option, the second payment must be made to the Trempealeau County Treasurer's Office in Whitehall.

Where can I register my vehicle?

EZ-TAB is an easy to use self-service kiosk located at Gordy's Market in Arcadia that will renew your WI license plate, dispense your vehicle's registration and license plate sticker (tag/tab), all in real time with the WI DMV.

Who do I contact to rent a park shelter?

Shelters at Memorial Park, Schultz Park and Deer Park can be reserved at City Hall. A $50.00 non refundable deposit is required to reserve the shelter. The Amphitheater can also be reserved for $50.00.

When is garbage collected?

Garbage is collected each Thursday in the City of Arcadia. Please place all garbage on the curb by 7:00 am. The City of Arcadia requires that all garbage must be placed in Orange or Red garbage bags which may be purchased at City Hall or from one of the following locations.

Do I need a license for my dog or cat?

Dogs 6 months and older must be licensed annually in the City of Arcadia. To license your dog, proof of the rabies vaccine must be brought to City Hall. The fee for licensing your dog is $8.00 for non-spayed or neutered and $3.00 for spayed or neutered dogs.

Cats do not need to be licensed in the City of Arcadia at this time.
