NOTICE OF HEARING

Pursuant to Section 425-10.B.(12)(e) of City of Arcadia Municipal Code;

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that an application for a conditional use permit has been submitted by Butter Solar, LLC requesting the City of Arcadia to permit the development of a five (5) megawatt solar farm. The permit, if granted may affect the rights of certain owners to develop their property and to plant vegetation.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE THAT the Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a public hearing, at 401 W. Main Street, Arcadia, Trempealeau County Wisconsin, at 5:00 p.m., or as soon as time allows on July 5, 2018 to determine if a conditional use permit should be granted to BWRBB Family Farms, LLC. and Butter Solar, LLC to construct a solar farm on the follow parcels of property located at approximately, 700 Truman Way, Arcadia, Trempealeau County, Wisconsin:

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - CITY OF ARCADIA PLAN COMMISSION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be conducted by the City of Arcadia Plan Commission on Tuesday, May 15, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the City of Arcadia City Hall, (203 W. Main Street, Arcadia WI) to consider a proposed amendment to the City of Arcadia Comprehensive Plan: 2015 Update and an accompanying consideration to reclassify zoning for annexed property.  The purpose of the public hearing is to accept public comments on the proposed amendment and reclassification of zoning.

An application has been filed by Barbara Garofalo of BWRBB Family Farms, LLC requesting an amendment to the land use plan map adopted as part of the City of Arcadia Comprehensive Plan.  The application requests that the future land use plan map be amended to change the land use designation of Parts of Tax Parcels 004-01518-0005, 004-01528-0000, 004-0158-0000, and 004-01533-0000 (40 acres), located approximately 995 feet WNW of the intersection of E. Blaschko Avenue and Truman Way.  A reclassification of zoning annexed property from Residential to Commercial has also been requested and will be considered at the public hearing.

The public may review copies of the application and the Comprehensive Plan at the City Hall during regular office hours.  Interested parties may make arrangements with the City Administrator to obtain a copy of the application at 608-323-3359 x 30 orCityadmin@cityofarcadiawi.com.

During the Public Hearing, the public is invited to speak on the proposed plan amendmentand reclassification of zoning.  Written comments may be submitted to the City Administrator until 5:00 p.m. on May 15 and shall become part of the record.  The Public Hearing shall be closed when all interested parties in attendance have had an opportunity to offer comment.

Upon the close of the Public Hearing, a meeting of the City of Arcadia Plan Commission shall be called to order and the application shall be addressed per the agenda.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - FLOOD MANAGEMENT PLAN
CITY OF ARCADIA, STATE OF WISCONSIN

Please take notice, that the City of Arcadia has prepared a Floodplain Management Plan as the non-structural option requirement to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers 205 Small Flood Control Project. The City of Arcadia will hold a public hearing at its regular City of Arcadia Common Council meeting on February 5, 2018; 5:30 pm at 401 W. Main Street, Arcadia, WI 54612. Drafts of the plan can be viewed at City Hall or the Arcadia Public Library or on the City’s website. The City of Arcadia will take comments through Friday, February 9, 2018. Comments and questions regarding the plan may be sent directly to cityadmin@cityofarcadiawi.com or by calling City Hall at 608-323-3359 x 30.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – CITY OF ARCADIA ZONING ORDINANCES

 CITY OF ARCADIA, STATE OF WISCONSIN

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given to all persons in the City of Arcadia, Wisconsin, that as part of the City of Arcadia’s effort to codify its ordinances, a public hearing will be held on July 11, 2017 at 6:00 pm at 401 W. Main Street, Arcadia WI 54612 to solicit comments on the proposed zoning revisions to the following:

Ordinance 138 – Zoning (Chapter 425)

Ordinance 145 – Shoreland -Wetland Zoning (Chapter 406)

Ordinance 161 – Floodplain Zoning (Chapter 394)

Ordinance 180 – Wellhead Protection (Chapter 417) – Change in impact on allowable land use within 1,336 feet of 1109 Wilson Avenue (Well #3)

Ordinance 210 – Subdivision of Land (Chapter 410)   

A copy of the proposed revisions and codified chapters will be on file and open for public inspection in the Office of the City Administrator two weeks before the public hearing. Maps of the Zoning Districts, Shoreland/Wetland Zones, Floodplain, and Wellhead Protection zones may also be obtained from the Office of the City Administrator.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City of Arcadia Plan Commission will hold a public hearing under Wis. Stat. §62.23(7)(d) on a proposed amendment to the City of Arcadia Zoning Ordinance 138.9.2 to add solar energy systems as a Permitted use with a Conditional Use Permit, in the Commercial District.

The Plan Commission will hear all persons interested, or their agents or attorneys, concerning this zoning ordinance amendment beginning at 6:00 p.m. on July 11, 2017, at 401 W. Main Street, Arcadia, WI.  A copy of the proposed amendment and map of affected district is available for public review at the office of the City Administrator of the City of Arcadia during regular business hours.
